My Autumn Favourites 2020 - The Ichigo Bunny

 Hello buns,

Welcome back to another blog! Earlier this year I wrote a summer favourites blog and I wanted to share some of my favourite things from this season with you all. I've got quite the variety to share with you all and I'm excited to show you all of the things I have been loving recently.

Do you like Autumn? What season is your favourite? Let me know, and let me know if you like any of my autumn favourites!

Happy reading,

Keri AKA The Ichigo Bunny

XOXO

My Autumn Favourites 2020

Autumn is my favourite season - the summer heat has ebbed away, Halloween happens during this time and I can finally dig out my jumpers from the wardrobe. This season has brought a new variety of favourite things and I'm excited to show you what I have been enjoying!

All Things Halloween

Halloween is my favourite holiday of all time and Miss Rona did not dampen my spirits this year! Despite not being able to go to Homesense and look at all of the beautiful Halloween items, I managed to find some cute bits to add to my home decor (no thanks to my local TK Max - no Halloween items in there at all?? Disgusting).

Pumpkin Lights
These pumpkin lights I found in Sainsburys and I love them. They both have different lighting - one is neon and the other is soft, but they both add a lovely feel to our living room when we turn on all of the fairy lights.

Pumpkin Tealight Holder
I found this little cutie in my local poundland and I couldn't resist picking him up! Gwyd enjoys having a candle burning in the evening and Pumpkin Head is our little piece of Halloween that we can keep out all year long.

Make-Up

I've discovered this year that I really enjoy playing around with make-up and experimenting with bolder eyeshadow looks. This season I decided to buy some palettes from Color Pop and I discovered my new found favourite foundation - honestly, it's a game changer for me.

Colour Pop Palettes
I had been looking at buying a palette from ColorPop for some time and when I saw that the Sailor Moon palette had been restocked I decided to treat myself to it as well as a few other palettes that I had been thinking of buying. I bought "Lilac You A Lot," "In A Trance" and the Sailor Moon "Pretty Guardian" palette and I can honestly say that they were worth every penny! The shades in these palettes are beautiful and I've been enjoying playing about and trying out eye shadow combinations that I wouldn't of been brave enough to try before. I've found some kawaii looks through experimenting that I've started to wear all the time.

Too Faced Matte Foundation in shade "Snow"
I've been using Too Faced as my go-to foundation for some time. However I wasn't 100% happy with the finish that the "Born This Way" foundation left me with so I decided to take a chance on their matt foundation and it did not disappoint! At first I really struggled with it - I wasn't sure about the texture and I didn't like how it showed any mistakes I made when applying it. I soon changed my mind when it had stayed on my face during a damp day with that gentle rain that gets you soaked. It had stayed on my face and not shifted at all! I'm a lot more used to it now, it covers my nose a lot better than most other foundations have done and I'm looking forward to seeing how it holds up during the summer months.

Fashion

The weather has gotten colder over the last few months so it's meant that the clothes that I've reached for recently have changed compared to the last favourites blog. Let's see what my new (and in some cases, old) favourites are!

Slip On Vans
This year I'm bringing emo fashion back into my life and I have welcomed back checkerboard slip on vans. I used to own a pair when I was in my teenage years and buying another pair this year has revived my inner emo. I forgot just how comfy what a classic staple they are. I can see myself wearing them a lot more in the spring season when it's not as cold as rainy and using them to create more skate inspired looks.

Esther Loves You Jumper
I've owned this jumper for a few years but it really is one that I look forward to wearing in the colder months. I bought this from Japanese brand WC and it's been one of my better buys. I love that it's cute, thick and cosy. I had been looking forward to being able wear it again and I've worn it a lot this recently.

Odds and Bobs

In the last few months I've started some old hobbies and I've got some new favourites that don't fill a category by themselves, so welcome to the odds and bobs section!

Japanese Lessons
My former fellow Japanese student messaged me at the end of September saying that our teacher was thinking of doing online lessons and said to email her if I was interested. Before I moved in with Gwyd, I had been going to Japanese lessons at college, which when moved to private lessons with this student at my teachers house. It was something that I had sorely missed since living with Gwyd and I had really struggled with continuing my studies on my own so being able to start having virtual lessons has been lovely. I was surprised to see that I remembered a lot more than I thought I would do!

Reading
Reading has been a long time favourite hobby of mine but something that I hadn't had much time to do what with trying to make the most of my evenings and days off with spending time with Gwyd, housework and trying to keep up with content creating. I've spent the last few weeks of November really taking the time to sit and get absorbed in a good book and I had forgotten just how much I enjoy it.

Heated Dryer
I know this is a random one but I had bought a heated dryer early October. My flat isn't the warmest and my clothes were starting to take ages to dry and were smelling a little damp because of the length of time it was taking them to dry. I bought it for £40 from Argos and honestly I cannot get enough of it.

What are your autumn favourites? X
